The channel was busy again this morning with canoeists, swimmers, Harbour Patrol and sailors. You don’t have many one person yachts down this end though.

Hi Mondrak, I go along with Rosy, The three small sailing crafts with yellow and white sails are appealing, but the sparkling water is simply gorgeous.

It probably was. Which would have been great with the heat that we had. Admittedly, not as hot as your neck of the woods though.

Yeah, it’s about 18/64 now so not too bad. It’s finally clouded over though so hopefully today will be cooler as well.

Yeah, We are always complaining about lack of heat during the summer over here, but we can’t say that this year. It’s been a cracker. The sun cream has really been flowing for want of a better word lol

Haha yep. Farrah hates it as she is not allowed to take her blazer or tie off at school.
Kester isn’t that bothered because he is in year 12 now (a new year over here) he is allowed to wear what he wants – within reason
What year is she?
She’s year 10 – not sure what grade that is. She’s 14
So she has 3 more years of school then?
Yep. Much to her disgruntleness lol. Although for her last two, she is thinking of taking Hairdressing.
I find girls (not all) but many change their minds a few times around this age!
Yep. She wanted to be a geologist six months ago. She still may. She has taken History and Geography as a couple of her subjects.
It’s a good time for her to explore options and choices.

I had to convince my son not to go for what he wanted to though. But I’m sure you understand the reasoning. He wanted to be a race-car driver. Although I have put him off of it for now, I have convinced him to go for mechanics. That way, he can still get into that scene if he wishes. If he ends up getting into racing after that, then I will back him. But while he only sees one side of it – as you know what Asperger’s is like – he only sees the linear – the winning and not the dangers.
