NIce thought! I used to help my dad develop pictures when I was a girl. It was great fun waiting in the dark, with just a hint of orange light, smelling the processing materials, and watching the image slowly appear.
Although I wanted to get into photography then, I didn’t have the skill with a camera or the use of a dark room, so I just used to use a 110 point and click
Me too —- for YEARS! My dad was an amateur photographer with a darkroom. When he retired, he taught classes at a community college. But I never got the F stop stuff. Some lighting, framing shots I picked up from him, but mostly I am stumbling along in the dark, learning as I shoot. We will get better together as we go along with this great blogging experience!
