There are so many things to take photos of now that the sun has come out. There are butterflies, flowers, trees, bugs, spiders. I decided to macro the carnations that I brought a couple of days ago. These are also going to be available for sale tomorrow, along with Gobby. I was going to do it today, but I have run out of time as it is my daughter’s 15th birthday.

A Photo A Day … June 18 2013
I have spent a good part of today photographing a dead butterfly. I thought I could get some macro practice on something that wouldn’t run away. Apparently, I need a lot more practice. They didn’t come out well at all. Still, I think Gobby here has something to say.

My Friend is in Need
I originally posted this on June 12th, but it's still valid. Just reblogging in case any other new advice surfaces. Thanks for all your great responses and suggestions!
This is a very unconventional post for me but I have a friend who is unemployed and desperately needs a job to support his family. He lives in Massachusetts and has a teaching license, but at this point he'll take anything, especially if it offers health insurance.
