I did go out today, but the photos I took were naff, so I used one that I took as I was on my balcony photographing … something big that went down the Straits of Dover. This poor baby was asking for food, but alas, I didn’t have any for him today.

A Photo A Day … May 01 2013
Been in extreme pain today, so I only managed a quick photo. This ship was turning to “park” in Dover Docks or turning leave. If you look at the larger image, you can see blurry images of people on the front of the ship and one on the bridge.

A Sad Update
In October, Le Clown started his Bloggers For Movember which was to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer. I did my own post about my Uncle. He had lost his first wife to cancer, and then he remarried. His second wife also succumbed to cancer. When he was with a new girlfriend, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
In October, he was in hospital, and the hospital vicar suggested that if they were going to marry, then they should do it now. They did, and then he started improving slightly. For the last six months, he has been in and out of the Pilgrim’s Hospice who have looked after him.
His wife went to see him yesterday with two other members of his family. Unfortunately they were too late. He died minutes before they turned up.
Whilst it is sad that he has gone, the cancer had a fierce grip on him, and had him in serious pain. He is at peace now. His wishes were that there be no flowers for him, and that any money that we would have spent on flowers, be donated to the Pilgrim’s Hospice instead.
R.I.P. Uncle Len. You will be missed.
Blue Theme
I apologise if the blog is slightly unreadable today. It is only for today as it is “Blue for autism” day. Please bear with me, and it will be back to its normal colour again tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding.
