If you fall, I will catch you, I’ll be waiting ~ Cyndi Lauper

There are days, like today, where I don’t want to write inspirational posts. I want people to tell me it is all going to be okay. That I will be fine and that my problems are going to open to some new horizons. As I was headed into town to meet my sister, my music was playing in my ears, and these words came into my ears seeming louder than any of the others.

If you’re lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I’ll be waiting
Time after time
If you’re lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I’ll be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows, you’re wondering if I’m okay
Secrets stolen
From deep inside
The drum beats out of time

  1. Lovely sentiments in Cyndi Lauper’s song, Alistair. My favourite for such times is “You’ve got a friend” by James Taylor. And it IS all going to be ok. Miracles are around every corner. Christmas blessings wished for you and your family [and animals]. Peace and love from Izzy

  2. Hey A it’s all going to be ok and I thank you for always reminding me that it is. You are such a positive light and I’m thankful for your friendship. Email me if you need to! I’m off work now so I have time! You are an amazing person A. Hugs to you 😄🌟😁
