When you walk through wherever you are going today, take notice of the people walking past. See if one of them needs your smile. See if one of them needs you to say “Good morning“ or “Good afternoon“. The difference that could make to them may be out of this world. It may be all they need to make a change in life.
I saw an article on the TV here this morning. A man was looking for someone who saved his life. He stood on a bridge in London and planned to take his own life. Someone saw him and went over to talk to him. He told him that things may be bleak now, but they will get better. He was right. By not throwing himself off the bridge, he has improved his life. That was by just saying a few words.
You don’t have to stop someone from jumping to change their life. Just saying “Hello” may do it.
