Photo of the Week: Week 5

This week has been a very hectic week for me and I have not done half as much as I wanted to and wanted to do half as much as I did do. I brought an Orchid this week and took some photos of it, but my mind was elsewhere at the time and they didn’t come out too well at all. I will try for better ones this week. In the meantime, I was happy to see the nail clipping of the moon when I went into the kitchen at a little after 6 am this week.

Week 5

    • It is. Whenever it is dark I look up and when it is light I do as well. The sky fascinates me. I did an Open University course in Astronomy. It was a short one, and I was going to do a follow up course, but things kind of went to pot.

  1. Sorry you had a busy week! I think your orchid waiting to be photographed again.
Very nice capture month! I like the picture very much.
I hope to have a new week easier, Alastair! 🙂

    • Let’s hope so 🙂 I think I am going to have to choose a day when I don’t blog at all. Or rather don’t go visiting. I cut down on how much I was doing, but it has made no difference. I am still spending the majority of the day visiting blogs.

Glad you like the photo 🙂

  2. This is brilliant!!! There is an elegance in the positioning.

  3. Great moon pic Al, I’m trying to get good moon pics myself at the moment. I notice you have a flag counter, I’m trying to add one but I can’t seem to get it to work in an image widget. Can you give me any advice. Maybe I’m doing it wrong 🙂
