If You Cannot Excel With Talent, Triumph With Effort ~ Stephen G Weinbaum

If you want to complete something, you don’t have to be a master of it. To be able to finish, you don’t need to be the expert. You only need to put in the effort. How many times at school were you told “show your working out, even if you get it wrong, you will still get points if you show how you did it” The same can be said of life. By putting in effort, people who know may well stop and help.

Two scenarios:

1)
You have a problem with your car. It won’t start and you know nothing about cars. So you sit on the wall and look at it. People walk past not even noticing you there. They have no idea that the car they are walking past is broke.

2)
You have a problem with your car. It won’t start and you know nothing about cars. So you pop the bonnet/hood/engine cover whatever you want to call it and start looking to see if you see anything. You haven’t a clue and don’t know if anything is wrong, but someone stops and asks if they can help.

In the second scenario, the effort was there. The “working out” if you will from school and you still got the points in the manner of someone stopping to help. That help can come from anywhere and anyhow at any time.

I hope the rest of your week is good.
