Beautiful Skies

(Thanks to my nephew for the title)

This came to me after reading Christina’s post Of Moonlight or Madness

Beautiful Skies

Whether waiter or debater
At midnight or noon
You cannot miss the crater
When you look at the moon

01 Moon

Whether serious or joker
Practical or fun
All know it’s solar
When you look at the sun

02 Sun

Whether walker or driver
On pushbikes or cars
There is nothing nicer
Than a night full of stars

03 Stars

Whether mother or father
Being ever so proud
Your smile getting larger
With your child naming clouds

04 Clouds

Whether starting or finished
We all get the prize
Beauty never diminished
When we look at the skies

05 Skies

So now I tell you this
What many have found
It is too good to miss
The beauty all around

  1. I super dig graphics as complements to a “ladder” of poetry. With your mad shutterbugging skills, you’ve brought this too a “photo finish”–and brand new starting gate…:)

    well done.

  2. This is a great synergy of words and photos. What resonated were your closing lines and I quote,

“So now I tell you this
    What many have found
It is too good to miss
    The beauty all around.”

So what is it really that stops us from appreciating this beauty around us and what could we do about it?

    • Thank you Courtney πŸ™‚ I will tell him when he wakes up in the morning. He is staying here for a couple of days so his mum can have some time with her friends
