Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandonment

The weekly photo challenge this week is “Abandonment“. These photos are all ones that I took today. When I saw the subject of this weeks challenge, I immediately thought of the trainers (sneakers, running shoes whatever you want to call them) over the wire.

The large building is being demolished soon. It has not been used in the three and a bit years we have been here, and it had not been used for many before that. It used to be a great hotel until the town started to suffer. Now they are going to knock it down and turn it into a cinema complex with fast food restaurants and other shops.

Photo Of The Week: Week 9

Hard to believe that we have entered the last month of the first quarter of the year. January and February are now but memories, as time Marches on.

This week’s photo is of the lighthouse, but with the way the light was shining and the silhouette it caused, I think it caused a definite subject for the Photo of the Week.

Week 9

It Is During Our Darkest Hour That We Must Focus On The Light ~ Aristotle Onassis

I have seen a lot of things in the last 46 years.
I have done a lot of things in the last 46 years.
I have regretted a lot of things in the last 46 years.
I have been embarrassed by a lot of things in the last 46 years.

However, each of these things has made me who I am today. All of those encounters, all of those memories, all of those mistakes have formed the basis of the past 46 years, So if you have done something that you are not proud of, if you have done something that you regret, if you have done something that has made you happy, each one of these has made you who you are today and who you will be tomorrow, who you will be next week, who you will be next year.

Everything in our past becomes us
everything in our present shapes us
everything in our future defines us
