Travel Theme: Statues

When I saw this week’s travel theme from Ailsa, I knew which photos I was going to use. Some of these are from my trip to London with Ute and some are from my trip to London with my kids. There are also a couple from St Pancras International Station. I love the statues in our Capital as there are so many of them, and each has a very good meaning behind them. The last photo, is a remembrance statue for people from the town who lost their lives in the wars.

  3. Absolutely gorgeous photos, Alastair! Amazing statues are created. I really like them! Art at the highest level.
Thank you so much for sharing with us, Alastair! 🙂

  4. A nice series of statues. So sad the stories that some statues hold.
My fave of the bunch is the one with the man holding down his hat.
    🙂
