It’s A Dog’s Life

The other day there was a man throwing a ball for his Jack Russell so I took some photos. I then went over and had a chat with him and said that I was going to use the photos, did he mind. After chatting a while, he asked for a copy of the photos and that I could use them. The dog kept dropping the ball at my feet and at my son’s feet for us to throw it. Afterwards, she had a drink from the river. I was going to use one of these as my photo of the week, but something better came along today (one of the reasons I can barely move this evening but it was worth it)

  1. Jack Russells are awesome dogs for horses. They have the right personality and know how to stay out of the way. I don’t particularly like them as a pet to have around the house but people I know who have them love them…they can be fun and seem to be extremely intelligent! Great pictures! 🙂

    • Thanks Courtney. They can be fun. We used to have a Jack Russell cross Border Collie and she was the most gorgeous dog you could know. We got her at around eight or nine because she was abused by her first two owners. We made her last few years happy ones though 🙂

      • That is awesome. I bet that was a beautiful dog. So great you rescued her. I have a big soft spot in my heart for dogs.
We were in CA last week on “holiday” and saw WHITE Golden Retrievers. I had never seen one before. The are called English Cream 🙂 They were gorgeous!! A professional dog walker had them along with a solid white Samoa….absolutely beautiful! We got to pet them 🙂

  2. How fun!

Buuu…on the not being able to move bit. Photography can be quite a risky b’ness. 😉
    Hope you feel better soon.
