What Is The Best That Could Happen?

When you worry about doing something, and you are in two minds over it, the majority of people will say “What’s the worst that could happen” and your reply will probably take the form of a rejection, a failure, the need to try again. Now look at it the other way. You worry about doing something and you are in two minds over it, and you say “What’s the best that could happen?” You get success, you meet someone who turns out to be the love of your life, you get a promotion. Which would you rather see? I know which oneΒ IΒ would rather see.

Have a great weekend, and for those of you women in America with children – Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.

What’s the best that could happen?

Thank you to:

  1. My favorite (even though they are all true) is the one about the Lion….since I am a Leo I can relate 100% and I should stop worrying about the opinions of “sheep” πŸ™‚
    wonderful words…..

  2. Great thoughts and shared inspirations Al!

I think part of the “problem” lies in all the negative conditioning we have mostly been force-fed all our lives; it’s rare to meet people who can look at the situation and listen, empathize BUT then say – “flip it around” – and therein lies the beauty of a difficult life lesson.

I’m re-learning and re-programming my brain, one step, moment at a time – and I can honestly say – it does get easier with each step and event.

Cheers and have a great rest of the weekend πŸ™‚

  3. Sometimes I have to remind myself of that – What IS the worst that could happen?

And – Thanks for the HMD wish. πŸ™‚

    • Not me, I just share them πŸ™‚ Thanks for them go to the writers and the people who shared them originally. But thank you anyway Ute
