Just Because It’s Not What You Were Expecting …

… does not mean it is not everything you have been waiting for.

We go through life wanting. We want to improve, we want love, we want to be accepted, we want to be successful, we want to meet people, we want …, we want …, we want … Because we want it, we expect to be able to get it. Whether it is love “I want love, so one day I will get love”, or we want to be successful “I want to be successful, so I will work myself to the bone” or we want to be accepted “I want to be accepted so I will make myself accepted”. It doesn’t always work that way though.

  • “I want love, I want to love the most beautiful woman in the world”
“Oh my God! You may not be the most beautiful person, but to me you are stunning”
  • “I want to be successful and a CEO”
“I’ve been sacked, but I was hired by this amazing company and I can go further!”
  • “I want to be accepted, so I will raise a facade for people to see”
“How did they see through my mask and like the person behind?”

Everything is possible if you allow it to be. If something doesn’t work out, it means something better is coming. Have a great weekend.

  1. I once didn’t get a job that I thought that I wanted. Come to find out by the person who got the job (we became friends) – that the boss was not a pleasant person to work for. And – the job I did get – that person is now a huge part of my life & I love that she was put on my path instead.

  3. This is so true. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring and we don’t always know what’s best for us but in the end everything works out and usually better than what we hoped for in the beginning
