My First Photo Of The Day from 2012

I first started doing the Photo of the Day in January 2012 where I was using a GE HZ1500 and I was taking photos of anything and everything, posting photos that really should not have been the Photo of the Day, like my son’s injury. my daughter’s cooking, out of focus and uncontrolled long and open shutter shots. A couple of the photos were taken on my phone which at that time was a HTC Desire. I am glad to say that I have improved since then. I made two videos of the first two months, so I thought I would share them again. January is five minutes long and has the song Africa by Toto as an accompaniment, February has Pat Benatar with Hit Me With Your Best Shot and is just under three minutes.

    • Hit me with your best shot in Africa. πŸ˜‰

Thanks Alejandro πŸ™‚ I really should do March and April as well. But I have so much else to do.

  1. Really enjoyed that Al πŸ™‚ Now, that is some grumpy looking ginger cat on January 26th LOL looks as though you’re about to have your nose bitten πŸ˜€

    • He was gorgeous. Five months after that was taken, he had to be put to sleep due to serious kidney damage from when he was hit by a car when he was younger. He did have a grumpy look though πŸ˜€

      • Ohhh, how sad 😦 I’d hate it if we lost Napoleon and our little dog, Cally would be devastated. She loves him to bits.

        • Yeah, we lost Tabitha in January this year as well. Gogh was really upset. So a month or so ago, we got him a playmate. The playmate’s name is Sully, but I think I will call him Punt. He keeps running in front of my feet as I walk.

  2. That was awesome!! Loved the pics….surprised there weren’t more birdies since that is your first love! The others were lovely though. Great choice on music also. Love Toto (brings back good memories for me) πŸ™‚

    • Thank Sheena πŸ™‚ I was going to do every month, but I got sidetracked. I may end up going back and doing it. I look at some of the photos and think “Eeek! Did I really publish that?” Just thankful I had barely any people reading my blog then
