A Cumbrian Adventure (Part Two)

A few more photos from Cumbria. Again, these were taken from a moving car. Apart from the my daughter and the dogs of course.

The reason for the sign, is because sheep in the area just walk across the road. Apparently, at night, they lay down and go to sleep in the middle of the road. The roads belong to the sheep; the deer; the cows; anything without wheels.

  1. I just love that photo of your daughter and the dog, Alastair – just beautiful. Cumbria is certainly a beautifully wild place. I would love to visit England, but very much doubt it will ever happen.

    • Cumbria is so far from me, it is the only time in my 47 years that I have been able to see it for myself, and it is something I would not have missed. I am so grateful for my friend coming and collecting me
