The Timing In Which People Enter Your Life Is Very Important

Nobody enters your life by accident. They always come into it at a specific time for a specific reason. It may be they come in to help you up, some come in to push you down so you can get back up stronger and more resilient. Others come in just to be there, to be the one person you can turn to when there is nobody else. We all have that one person that we can turn to, even if we don’t do it.

Friends enter our life, and sometimes they leave it again, only to come back later, down the road of life. They may leave because of something that was done or said, or it may be for no reason at all, just moving away, different circles, different timings. But when they come back, it may only be for a short time to say “I am still here, remember me?” Or it may be forever.

So when someone comes into your life, there is a reason. Many years ago, I spoke to a person in a shop, and it was one I went into regularly, he would be in there quite often. We went to his house, played on his computer, met a friend of his. Went to the new friend’s house, went back often, got drunk often, role-played often (Dungeons & Dragons, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, Vampire The Masquerade, Warhammer), met several others, one I married and had children with. I don’t talk to or see the first person any more, his reason for entering my life has been and gone. I rarely talk to some of the others, but they are still there. Their reason has not yet been fulfilled.

Every person is valuable; every person teaches you something; every person helps you with something good or bad; every person has a reason.

I hope you have a great weekend.

  1. Good thoughts. It’s impossible to tell who will be significant later in your life when you first meet them, but it’s fun to look back and see the coincidences that lead to important relationships.

    • It is. When you look at them and think “if it hadn’t have been for that person, I wouldn’t have met that one, and if hadn’t been for that one, I wouldn’t have met this one …” and so on and so on until “… and if it hadn’t have been for that one, I would still be single instead of married” haha

  2. Reblogged this on Tell me about it and commented:
I totally agree with A here people do come into your life for such a time as this! That is what I always say but A says, “The Timing In Which People Enter Your Life Is Very Important” I totally agree here! Awesome post and inspiration! I love it!

    • Exactly. People are either a “day” person, a “week” person or a “lifetime” person.

A day person comes in to your life to teach you something there and then. They will be around for a few months and then, through no fault of your own, will leave.

A week person will be in your life anything from a couple of months to a couple of years, and they teach you something necessary for you to move on in your life.

A lifetime person will be there until the end of your life and they will have a profound effect and make a huge difference to your life.

  3. This made me feel so connected to God because He’s the one that sends us these people! You write very well, carrying your reader smoothly to a greater understanding! Thank you!
