Never Lose Sight Of What Means The Most To You

Sometimes we are so wrapped up in our distress, in our world of problems, in our life drama, that we miss what is there for us. We count the bad, but miss out on the good. We blot out the smiles by watching the frowns. There is good in almost everything. Sometimes it takes a little longer to see what that good is, but it is there. So the next time you are down, count your blessings whilst you are down there. If you find something to take you further down, stop on it and use it to raise you up.

I hope you have a good Thursday.

  1. A friend of mine once said to me… “You DO know what your life looks like from the outside, right?” Hmm… never thought of it that way. But I do now. As in the words of Will Smith… “I make this look good!” But my mask is firmly in place…. 😦

  2. Hey Alastair! The thing about inspiration …. it inspires! And while that sounds funny when said that way, it’s true never the less. Thanks for these beautiful inspirational sayings and for being so yourself, dear friend! 🙂 xo

    • You’re too kind. I only find them. The inspiration comes from them, the ones who write them. I just share that. If I didn’t then people would still find it.

      • Oh Pshaw, my friend. When someone, another friend, pays you a sincere compliment the correct response is “Thank You”! – You nut! (you don’t say the “you nut” part I added that for your benefit!) LOL 🙂
